• Justification refers to the acquittal of someone
  accused of a crime
• We need the righteousness of God which comes
  through faith in Jesus in order to be acquitted
  of our sins

• This sacrifice was provided by God Himself to
  restore our relationship with Him.
• By taking our sin upon Himself, He cleansed us
