- PURPOSE
- To provide an overview of the CE-LCMC RESET
Support to the Warfighter.

- Rapidly restore Army fleet to support readiness

13RESET OBJECTIVES
14RESET MISSION
- RESET is the level of effort to meet the Army
requirement to return the force to 10/20
standards within a specific timeframe. RESET
includes all units and/or organizations that were
deployed in support of OIF/OEF. - These actions are necessary to posture the Army
for future operations and bring unit equipment
back to 10/20 standards within 180 days or less
of redeployment while maximizing the use of
available resources. - RESET Sustainment Level
- Equipment that was deployed that has been
identified as requiring depot level repair/beyond
10/20 repair. - RECONSTITUTION - Retail Level
- Deployed equipment that units will bring to 10/20
standard at home station.

- In Theater CECOM SWA RESET Team support of
OIF/OEF. - In FY05 CECOM RESET Sustainment Base programs
include - FIREFINDER
- AN/ALQ-144
- AN/TSC-85/93
- RADIAC Meters
- Generators
- ECUs
- RESET is also supporting a variety of B16 weapon
systems with on-site DEPOT and contractor teams -
- All involved in Soldier and Ground Systems
Life Cycle management in the CECOM community are
fully engaged! - (PEOs/PMS Depots, Arsenals
OEMs Suppliers, Item managers)

18RESET PROCESS
- Units/LARs identify depot level repair
candidates. - C4ISR Equipment Listing of System/Major Items
being RESET. - RESET candidates coordinated with SWA RESET
Branch - Verification of RESET candidate.
- Request disposition instructions from Item
Manager. - Provide disposition instructions to Unit.
- Unit marks equipment for depot level return in
preparation for movement to staging area. - LAR/SWA RESET team verify proper marking
- IAW DA FRAGO, Automatic RESET Systems/Major
Items are packed, wrapped and shipped via Air
Transport. - Non-Auto RESET systems/major items are shipped
via ship.
19 RESET DIVISION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate all RESET efforts with AMC and DA, the
installations and all CECOM elements. - Responsible for execution and funding of CECOM
RESET - Serve as primary POCs for CECOM RESET
- Assist customers with RESET of equipment
Identification and inspection of
equipment - Facilitate Focus Sustainment efforts for 10/20
work - Assist with part shortages
- Track Sustainment Level RESET equipment
throughout the process

obligation plan - Serve as primary POC for supply EOH shortages
for Modularity efforts at CE-LCMC - RESET Liaison Officers at Installations

issues - Typically work under the CE-LCMC Senior Command
