Character

• The main characters name is Brian
• His favorite foods are hamburgers, fries, and
  malts
• He has black hair and brown eyes.
• Brians best friends name is Terry
• Brian likes to ride his bike.

Plot

• A boy named Brian is in the wilderness and has to
  survive by himself. It all started like this
  Brians parents get a divorce and now Brian is
  headed to his fathers. Brian is on a plane
  sitting next to the pilot. The pilot is starting
  to get bad cramps in his chest.Brian tries to see
  what is wrong with the pilot, the pilot falls to
  the ground and is having a heart attack.

Climax

• I think the main climax is when Brian discovers
  how to make fire. Without the fire, he may have
  died! The fire kept away mosquitoes, that may
  have carried malaria! It also kept away small
  animals that could steal his food. With the fire
  he could cook the fish he caught, you cant eat
  raw fish! (not willingly, anyway)

Problem

• The main problem in this story is Brian is
  crashed on a island.Another problem is that Brian
  needs fire to survive. Then theres the fact that
  he has no food but berries. Also he has to eat
  meat to get the protein he needs to survive the
  harsh environment. Another problem is that the
  mosquitoes might have a disease that their
  carrying.

Solutions

• Brian solved the first problem by living of the
  resources in the wild. He solved the fire problem
  by gathering wood from the trees that were
  already destroyed. Then he solved the berry
  problem by finding eggs laid by a turtle. He
  found meat by hunting birds that he called stupid
  birds. The mosquitoes problem was solved by Brian
  making a fire.

Setting

• The setting of this story is Out in the middle
  of the Northern Canadian Wilderness, next to a
  L-shaped lake, surrounded by trees with a rock
  cave.

• I like this book because I can relate to it in
