- Students give back to God what He has first
given them. JCM takes a trip to a community in
need during UNFs Spring Break week. We have
traveled from Cherokee, NC to Key Largo, FL.
11Our Campus Minister Shari OBrien
- Shari graduated from Trinity Lutheran Seminary
in 1996 as a diaconal minister. She founded the
Lutheran-based non-profit organization
Evangelizing More Boldly to raise up Campus
Ministry in the Lutheran Church. Since receiving
her call as Campus Minister to Jacksonville
Campus Ministry she has made it her mission to be
an advocate for Campus Ministries in various
denominations, including all JCM-supporting
denominations.
12Our model is Peer Ministry
- Calling and equipping students to minister to
one anotherto create a caring communityto build
their own network of friends and contactsto grow
in faith, face the challenges of life, and move
toward becoming the people God intends them to
be.
Claudette, Ashley and Julia on UNF Campus
- Jesus set forth this model for us in Mark 67.
Calling the Twelve to him, he sent them out two
by two and gave them authority over evil
spirits.
