The Carnivorous Carnival

Introduction

• Violet, Klaus, and Sunny were hiding in Count
  Olafs trunk as Count Olaf and Esme Squalor were
  traveling to visit their friend Madam Lulu.

Fortune Teller

• Madam Lulu was a fortune teller. Count Olaf
  wanted to find out where the Baudelaire orphans
  were hiding.

Bad Information

• Madam Lulu gave Count Olaf incorrect
  information about the Baudelaires. She informed
  him that one of their parents may still be alive.
  This information could be found at Mortmain
  Mountains. Count Olaf was grateful for this
  information and paid Madam Lulu with 9 lions
  instead of money.

Costumes

• While Count Olaf was visiting with Madam Lulu,
  the Baudelaire orphans came across a some
  costumes in Count Olafs trunk.

Two Heads

• The orphans decided to disguise themselves as
  freaks so they could sneak out of the trunk with
  nobody noticing them. Klaus and Violet disguised
  themselves as a two headed freak and Sunny
  disguised herself as a baby wolf.

Freak Show

• The children visited the fortune teller, Count
  Olaf and his troupe. Count Olaf did not recognize
  the children. The orphans asked Madam Lulu if
  there were any freaks that lived near by. Madam
  Lulu said yes, and led them to the freak caravan.
  The Baudelaire children asked the freaks if they
  could join their show. The freaks allowed them to
  join.

LIONS

• Madam Lulu decided to make a pit for the lions
  that Count Olaf gave her. The lions would become
  part of the freak show. Madam Lulu was going to
  throw one of the freaks into the lion pit for the
  lions to eat.

The Fake

• The following day the Baudelaires snuck into
  Madam Lulus tent and found out she was a fraud.
  She begged the children not to tell anybody. She
  made a deal with them. She said if they stayed
  quiet then she would take them to a place where
  they could find information about their parents.
  The children agreed to stay quiet.

The Drawing

• The next day was the freak show. At the freak
  show, one of the freaks would be tossed into the
  lion pit. Count Olaf was in charge of drawing the
  name of a freak who would be tossed into the lion
  pit. He drew the two headed freak which was
  Violet and Klaus.

Slip, Slip, and Slip

• At the freak show Madam Lulu and one Count
  Olafs assistants were chosen to push the two
  headed freak into the pit. An unfortunate event
  occurred, Madam Lulu and the assistant
  accidentally slipped and fell into the lion pit
  and got eaten by the lions.

Count Olaf Gets New Troops

• Count Olaf decided to make three of the freaks
  and the Baudelaires part of his troupe. Count
  Olaf put the three freaks and Sunny (baby wolf)
  in the car. He noticed that the two headed freak
  (Violet and Klaus) were still outside. So he
  towed the caravan with the two headed freak
  inside it.

Off To Mortmain Mountains

• He told his troupe that they were going to the
  Mortmain Mountains. This is where he could find
  information about the Baudelaires parents.
  Thats when he found out that the two headed
  freak and the baby wolf were actually the
  Baudelaires. Another unfortunate event occurred,
  the Baudelaire orphans were trapped with Count
  Olaf once again.
