What is a degree?

• A degree is a lesson on one of the orders
  principles there are four degrees
• These are the only procedures that are not
  disclosed to non-members
• (we are not a secret society)

Whats this about Insurance?
The Knights of Columbus was founded as a
Fraternal Benefit Society in 1882 by Fr. Michael
McGivney for the care and protection of our
widows and children. The KofC has World Class
financial programs designed to meet the needs of
our members while taking advantage of our
non-profit tax status to provide low-cost, high
return products.

• Each council has its own Benefits Advisor who
  is professionally trained and licensed and only
  works for the KofC. His job is to keep you
  informed of YOUR benefits as a member.
• The Knights of Columbus specializes in
• Life Insurance and survivor planning
• Education planning for our children and
  grandchildren.
• Pre and post retirement planning
• Long term health care planning

Our programs are voluntary but we do ask that
you meet with your council Benefits Advisor. He
is a brother knight. Hes friendly and there is
no pressure at all. Hes only here to help you.
And remember he IS a brother knight!!!   The KofC
is 1 of 4, out of 1800 insurance companies in
North America to have all the top financial
ratings.
