Weve experienced a wonderful year of
change. Now, it is time to Go Forward. Go
Where Weve Never Gone Before. The Children of
Israel are about to cross over the Jordan River
and possess the Promised Land. It is a
frightening situation They had been at this
point before, but were afraid so they turned and
wondered in the wilderness 40 years. It is
Frightening to Go Where Weve Never Been Before.

• THE PATH WAS IDENTIFIED (vs.3-4)
• Identified by the Ark (represents God)
• If the Children of Israel would have tried to
  cross the Jordan any other way they would have
  drowned.
• Follow the Ark Follow God.
• Only One Path One Way (Jn.146).
• Only one way to be saved Trust in Jesus.
• Only one way to Live the Abundant Life Follow
  Jesus.

• THE PEOPLE OF GOD WERE SANCTIFIED (vs.5)
• Sanctify yourselves Why? tomorrow the Lord
  will do wonders among you.
• God wants to do a wondrous thing among us.
• God will not use a DIRTY VESSEL.
• Sanctify means Set Apart.
• To live the Abundant Life, Christians must be
  sanctified.

• THE PRIESTS OF GOD WERE TO BE EXEMPLIFIED
  (vs.3,6)
• They were to set the example To lead
  (Josh.315-17).
• They were to set the example Carry the Ark
  Lift it high so others could see it.
• We are to set an example Carry the Word Hold
  it high so others can see Jesus.
• We were chosen for that reason (1 Pet.29).

• THE POWER OF GOD WILL BE MAGNIFIED (vs.7)
• When the Power of God is Magnified Problems of
  Man are Minimized (Phil.419).
• When the Power of God is Magnified Potential of
  Man is Maximized! (Phil.413)
