  • A resume is a statement of why you are qualified
    for a particular position
  • Make sure each resume is tailored for the
    position you are applying for
  • Three Basic Parts
  • Who Who are you?
  • What What is the position you are applying for?
  • How How are you qualified for the position?

Layout
  • A resume is a persuasive summary of your
  • qualifications for employment.
  • Having a resume makes you look well organized
  • and prepared.
  • When you are employed, having an up-to-date
    resume makes it easier to take advantage of
    opportunities that may come up for an even better
    job.
  • If you are several years from job hunting,
    preparing a resume now will make you more
    conscious of what to do in the upcoming years to
    make yourself an attractive candidate.
  • Writing a resume is also an ego-building
    experience the person who looks so good on paper
    is you!
