Relic Trade

• Different countries in Medieval Europe often
  traded holy relics, the only problem is, they
  were mostly fake.
• Oddly enough, they traded bones and body parts of
  saints and martyrs, and those were always very
  much wanted.
• There was one church in Europe that claimed to
  have the brain of St. Peter on display, but it
  was accidentally moved and they found out it was
  actually pumice stone.

• Certain relics were extremely valuable, some of
  those included relics of Christ or relics of the
  Virgin Mary.
• Some of the most valuable of those relics
  included milk of the Virgin Mary, teeth, hair, or
  blood of christ, and also pieces of the cross.
• There were some monks from Charrox who said they
  had some of Christs foreskin that came off of
  him during his circumcision.
