intact , Fluo-4 loaded guinea- pig ureter, evoked
every 10s by suprathreshold depolarising
pulses. The long refractory period follows the
global Ca2 , transient and only regional
changes of Ca2 near the stimulation electrode
( circle), occur until the end of the
