What is diabetes?
  • Disease that results when chemical hormone,
    insulin, doesnt work or is not produced.
  • Very common, especially in the U.S., although
    many people are unaware of their condition.

Causes
  • Insulin problems none, shortage, too much, etc.
  • Genetics main influence.
  • Gender and weight minor influence.

Effects
  • Triggers related diseases like hyperglycemia and
    hypoglycemia.
  • Failure in body organs.
  • Wounds that will not heal.
  • Death.

Prognosis
  • No cure now not for some time. However,
    processes such as insulin therapy are being
    developed for the future.
  • Maintaining blood sugar levels is best way to
    stay healthy.
  • Long life is possible if blood sugar is kept in
    appropriate range.

Conclusion
  • Anyone can get diabetes, certain factors just
    influence the start of the condition.
  • Can be prevented by diet and exercise, and can be
    kept in check by monitoring blood sugar.
