Ladybug Facts

• A female ladybug lays over 1,000 eggs in her
  lifetime.
• Aphids are a ladybugs favorite food.
• Ladybugs chew from side to side, not up and down
  like us.
• Ladybugs make a chemical that tastes and smells
  bad so other animals wont eat them.
• The spots on a ladybug get lighter as it gets
  older.
• A ladybug beats its wings 85 times per second
  when it flies.
• A ladybug gets its spots when it becomes an
  adult.
