Why Export?
  • To preserve a back-up copy of your course
  • To preserve a back-up copy of your grades

Exporting a course
  • Go to your course you want to export.
  • Click on Edit Course.
  • Click on Components.
  • Select Export Components and click Next.
  • Check the box next to Select All Components and
    click Next.

  • Click Next again and then Done.
  • Right click on the link saying Click here to
    download the export Zip package.
  • Select Save Target As (IE) or Save Link As
    (Firefox), navigate to where you want to save the
    file, and click Save.

Exporting Grades
  • Click on Grades.
  • Select the Import/Export icon.
  • If you would like to see percentages in addition
    to points grade, select the box next to Grade
    Scheme for Item.
  • Scroll down, click Export to CSV file, and save
    the file.

Exporting Drop Box Items
  • You may want to export the files in your Drop
    Boxes as well.
  • Students may also want to make sure they have
    back up copies of these files.
