About EClass/Centra

• Centra is a system that uses audio/video to
  facilitate communication between users. Scheduled
  meetings on EClass allow people to communicate at
  the same time.

Log In

• Go to http//eclass.msc.uky.edu
• Enter Login and Password

Log In Videos

• To watch a tutorial video on logging in, click
  here
• To watch a tutorial video on entering a meeting
  without being logged in, click here

Check Your Schedule

• Click My Schedule link
• A list of your scheduled meetings will appear

Find A Meeting

• Go to Public Events link
• Search for desired meeting
• Click on Attend link

  ongoing meeting, click here

Test Your Equipment

• Use the Audio Wizard
• Use the Video Wizard (if necessary)

Once You Are In A Meeting

• Your display name will appear in the participants
  section
• Meetings use verbal and nonverbal communication

Verbal Communication

• Microphone icon (must appear by your name in
  order to speak)
• Talk Button (must be held down to talk)
• Locks the talk button

• Similar to instant messaging
• Type messages to meeting participants

App Share

• A leader/participant shares an application
• A leader/participant can control an application
  shared by someone else
• A green arrow over the microphone indicates app
  share privileges

• Use markup tools to draw, write text, etc.

• Saves white board to agenda
• Selection Tool
• Laser Pointer (or an arrow with your display
  name)
• Star (or a check, X, or laugh)

• Filled Rectangle (can also be a filled oval or
  an empty rectangle/oval)
