  • Review/revise business policies and processes
  • Identify and organize your team now
  • Review/revise your documentation of your business
    and your system
  • Especially your documentation on customizations
    and modifications!

This data structure change is a big part of a
upgrade from 8.0 to 9.0
  • Personal Data split up into multiple effective
    dated tables
  • Employment table eliminated
  • Person Of Interest allows more types of people to
    be tracked on the system without being employees
  • Person can have multiple relationships with the
    organization at the same time
  • One EMPLID (or Person ID) stays with the person
    regardless of relationship or status
  • Some Person Of Interest (POI) types can have
    benefits (Other Payee)
  • Does more for HR than Campus Community
