• 1873- Joseph Nathan company is established
• 1880- Burroughs Wellcome company is established
  by Henry Wellcome and Silas Burroughs
• 1904- Nathan begins dried milk powder production
• 1906- Glaxo is registered by Joseph Nathan Co
  as a trademark for dried milk
• 1924- The Wellcome Foundation Ltd Is formed

• 1970- Burroughs Wellcome Inc moves its production

  Laboratories Inc
• 1995- Glaxo and Wellcome merge
