    Mashantucket in the South.
  • Connecticut for over 10,000 years.

    knoll and placed against the clear sky.

  • Most were from the Eastern Connecticut.
  • Also from the Eastern Woodlands.

A Warlike Nation
  • The Pequot Indians were a warlike group of
    people. The Pequot tribes resided in South
    Connecticut at the time of the European contact.
    Now remember that they lived in Southern
    Connecticut at the time of the European contact.
    There was not contact with the Europeans until
    about 1600.
