• Aggregate their applications and provide Single
  Sign On, to improve users access to information
  and reduce password maintenance costs

  platform to deliver new, more sophisticated

• Implemented Portal Enable on Intel platforms
  using an Oracle database
• Trained up on J2EE development, use of WebSphere
  Studio Application Developer and Portal
• Used LTPA to deliver single sign on over Domino
• Used Portal Credential Vault to deliver Single
  Sign on with Java portlets
• This left holes where portlets were not being
  developed specifically

• They manufacture around 80 of MS products as
  well as for other brands such as Nike and Ralph
  Lauren
• Rapid information dissemination and assessment is
  a key issue for Dewhirst due to need to manage
  stock and product quality from off-shore
  manufacturing locations
