- In 2006 D.N.R.T organizes the VW Golf Endurance
Cup. - Races with 20-25 identical Golf V 2.0 TDI 16Vs,
which ride endurance races on several national
and international race tracks. - De length of the races varies from 4 to 24 hours.
- Besides the 24 hour race in Oschersleben, one of
the best races will be the race on the
Hungaroring, part of the program of the Hungarian
Grand Prix Formule 1. - Each car will be driven by teams of 2-4 drivers.
- The costs of participation are relatively low
compared to sprint racing.

- 9 races of which
- 7 races for the championship
- 2 races in Poland and Hungary, which are part of
the program of Polish VW Castrol Cup (no points
for the Dutch championship). - Per car teams of 2-4 drivers
- Each race counts a minimum number of stints
(4/8/12/24), depending of the length of the race. - Stint time counts a minimum of 20 and a maximum
of 80 minutes. - Qualification and race take place on one day
(except for the 24 h race). - Racing will be more than 50 hours in total
(training time excluded).

7Participation
- A team consist of a car and at least 2 drivers,
except for the 24 hour race when the minimum is
three drivers. - FIA approved International Driver/Entrant Licence
EU level needed. - Preparation and maintenance can be easily be
outsourced (arrive drive concept) from
specialised race teams (see also Race Service). - Many well known Dutch race drivers will
participate in the championship.

8Styling car
- Teams are free to determine the colour of their
car. - These areas should be kept free for cup sponsors

9Race Service
- Several race service teams offer the arrive
drive concept. Drivers pay a fixed amount of
money for the season and the race team prepares
the car for them. - The costs are usually lower than one thinks. In
the Unipart Endurance Cup with the Seat Ibiza's
(same concept as the VW Endurance Cup) the costs
were around EUR 6.000 p.p. for a complete season
(4 drivers per car, excluding car body damage.
The drivers can finance this with sponsor money
and can offer their sponsors stickering on 25 of

- Costs of the race car EUR 29.950 (excl 19 VAT).
- Costs of VW Endurance Cup overalls EUR 300 (excl
19 VAT) per overall. - Running costs, including race entrance fee and
depreciation about EUR 30.000 per car per year,
so with 4 drivers EUR 7.500 p.p. - Some suppliers will be pointed by the DNRT and
maximum prices will be determined by DNRT. - Suppliers will have spare parts available during
the races.

11Buying a car
- Price of a car EUR 28.950,- (excl. 19 VAT).
- Options pneumatic air jack system, automatic
fire extinguish system etc. - Cars can be ordered by filling in a contract
(available at the website www.vwgolfcup.nl and
see Downloaden documenten) and a down payment
of 50 of the total price. - Delivery of the car will be in March on a central
place in The Netherlands - All cars are built by VW Racing Poland.
