Materials

• Cereal box
• Glass bottle
• Vinegar
• Baking soda
• Stapler
• Tape
• Glue
• Sand
• Red painted water
• Black paper
• Scissors

Introduction

• There were many different projects that we would
  of done but we chose volcanoes because we were
  interested in the new things we can learn about
  and the realistic model we have done of the
  volcano that any other group has done.

Problem

• What makes a volcano erupt?

Hypothesis

• yes we thought the volcano will erupt because we
  tried a similar experiment and it worked.

Procedures

• Cut the cereal box into the shape of a cone
• Cut top of the cone to look like a volcano
• Tape and staple the volcano to stay how it is
• Cover the volcano with glue and sand
• Then let it harden for two days and then glue the
  glass bottle to put the chemicals inside
• Then staple the black paper inside the volcano.

Result

• We discovered that the results of the volcanic
  eruption is caused by the chemicals inside the
  volcano.

Conclusion

• All the chemicals in the baking soda and vinegar
  makes a chemical reaction which makes volcano
  erupt like when a real volcano mixes it makes it
  erupt.
