SENATE RESOLUTION 60
  • establish a special Bipartisan legislative
    Commission to develop legislation to provide
    direct and indirect assistance for the purpose of
    improving the delivery of emergency services in
    this Commonwealth.

1. Emergency Services are being tasked to
provide more services with very limited
resources2. Common issues now include-
Personnel to respond- Funding- Recruitment-
Conflicts regarding service delivery
The Problem

1. Need Exists to develop a cost effective
method to provide these services.2. Reviewed
25 reports (laundry lists with minimal action
statements)3. Bi-partisan, legislative,
leadership group, proposing solutions to major
challenges posed via comprehensive, implementable
suggestions to our legislative leadership.
