Title: Nursing Resource Center
1Nursing Resource Center
Allied health programs were the most frequently
identified hot programs across the nation,
representing 46.6 of all hot programs. -The
American Association of Community Colleges (AACC)
published this fact based on a 2004 survey of
hot programs within its membership. Hot
programs are defined as those for which there is
a large market demand for graduating students.
2Nursing and allied health programs are expanding
across the U.S. to address the nursing shortage
-- additional campuses are being built, schools
have waiting lists of two years, and nurse
educators are in high demand.
Nursing Resource Center supports this exploding
population of instructors and students
with In-depth information that is easy to use.
