• The Fire Museum preserves and exhibits Greater
  Cincinnatis firefighting artifacts.
• While honoring all the heroic firefighting, past
  and present.
• Cincinnati established the very first full time
  pay, in 1853 by steam fire engines pulled by
  horses.

Other Interesting Details

• It was Cincinnatis inventors Abel Shawk and
  Alexandra Latta who created Uncle Joe Ross,' the
  first successful steam fire engine.

• In the spring of 1853 the fire department
  committee presented a plan that would completely
  alert American fire fighting.

What I enjoyed most about my landmark

• The thing I enjoyed the most was seeing the old
  fashion fire trucks.
• I also enjoyed seeing the time line.
