• He is the child of Zeus and Hera
• Both of his parents hate him and he hates them
  because of it
• Ares is hated by most Olympian Gods

A Story

• One day while Ares and Aphrodite were laying
  together the sun God Helios saw them and quickly
  told Aphrodite's husband Hephaestus. Hephaestus
  fashioned a net to catch the two lovers in the
  act, and crept up on the two lovers. Hephaestus
  then threw the net trapping the two lovers. To
  further humiliate the two he went to the other
  gods and told them to come see Ares and
  Aphrodite. This caused Ares and Aphrodite's
  affair to come to a quick and comic end.
