Concept Inspiring Excellence Innovation in
Indias Jewellers.

Concept
  • This Generation X Jewelry Awards is designed to
    recognize the excellence innovation in the
    retail Jewelers of India.
  • Participation for this contest is restricted to
    50 jewelers from all over India.
  • The Jewelers from all over India can nominate
    maximum 9 jewelry pieces for the Contest .
  • The jewelers will have to submit
    photographs/drawings of the jewelry that are to
    be nominated for the purpose of Identification
    with the participation form.

Concept
  • Further the designs in the photographs/drawings
    need to be converted to a actual jewelry piece
    using the appropriate material as specified in
    the participation form.
  • 1 winner per category will be announced at the
    award night out of the all designs nominated for
    the awards per category.

Concept
  • One award for the overall best design will also
    be announced.
  • The entrants can also submit drawings of the
    jewelry already available at the showrooms.
  • All the finalists will have the opportunity to
    showcase their talents to key industry figures
    relevant media during both the evaluation process
    and an awards ceremony following the awards.

Concept
  • This is an exciting opportunity for the Jewelers
    their designers to showcase their creativity
    and uniqueness in themselves, through a ramp show
    where the models will walk down the ramp
    displaying the jewelry as per the categories
    mentioned below.
  • A panel of industry leaders from various design
    backgrounds will judge the final round of entries
    will decide the category winners runners up
    which will be announced at the Generation X
    Jeweler's Awards Night to be held in May 2009.

Judging Criteria
  • Judging criteria will include the following
  • Innovation in design
  • Design development
  • New product idea
  • Material Exploration - Innovation in usage of
    material
  • Practicality - All designs have to be practical
    in content. Designs
  • must be possible to execute at the
    manufacturing stage.



  • They must not discomfort the wearer.
  • Creative usage of technique.
  • Presentation - Composition, layout of design and
    Rendering skills
  • Overall appeal

  • All design renderings submitted along with entry
    form will be judged
    independently of one another, by the jury.
  • In order to ensure impartiality of the judges,
    entries will remain
    anonymous and be identified by code
    only.
  • The Final judging (finished pieces) - One winner
    in each of the 3

    Segments and an overall winner.
  • The judges/Jewelry Awards Committee's decision
    is final.

How to Enter
  • The entrant need to just fill in the entry form
    provided and securly attatch the form with a
    photocopy of the Jewellry to be exhibited
    displayed for the participation in the Awards.
  • The entry fee for the same is Rs. 5000/-
    service tax _at_12.36.
  • The cheque should be drawn in favour of Reify
    Projects Pvt. Ltd. payable at Pune.
  • Each form should be clearly marked with the
    entrants name and phone number and the total
    number of Photocopies submitted

Property Protection
  • Design renderings will remain the property of the
    entrant.
  • Designers who submit pieces for final judging are
    requested to carry

    adequate insurance cover in respect of loss or
    damage of the piece/s whilst in the possession of
    the Jewelry Awards Committee.
  • The Jewelry Awards Committee accepts no
    responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage of
    the design renderings (sketches) and finished
    pieces submitted, especially on account of
    transportation and postal systems.
