12Statistics and Future Plan
- The new car sales of small truck (not more than
1ton) were 9 of all new car sales. - The largest share of fatalities in car accident
was pedestrian as 39. - The half of frontal crashes was offset crashes.
- The number of neck injured persons by rear-end
collisions were approx. 260,000. - There was severe injuries on the head by pole
side impact. - An Euro SID2 and progressive type honeycomb for
side impact test shall be adopted in 2007.
