Registration Process

• UBC 80 reserved spots for the first wave of
  registration (Sept 24th Oct 14th)
• Registration will begin Monday September 24th
  online via Karelo (www.pharmacy.ualberta.ca/PDW200
  8/)
• Fees
• CAPSI members 150
• Non-CAPSI members 200
• Credit cards ONLY
• Waiver must be completed

Registration Process

• First wave of registration CAPSI members ONLY!
• When registering, you will need to
• choose the right school (ie. UBC) from a
  drop-down menu
• Check a disclaimer box before proceed with your
  registration, indicating that you are a CAPSI
  member
• If you check the wrong school or register as a
  CAPSI member when you are not, you will be
  de-registered and your registration will NOT be
  refunded.
• Registration will be confirmed by CAPSI Senior
  and Junior Reps regularly
• Invalid registration will not be refunded!!

• Last day to cancel Registration for refund
• December 1st
• Flight Information must be received
• January 1st

• 15 processing fee will be applied
• Flight Information
• Flight information must be provided to
  PDW2008_at_pharmacy.ualberta.ca (Subject Flight
  Information) by January 1st in order to receive
  transportation from airport to hotel
• If no information provided on time, you can
  utilize sky shuttle service for 15

• No reserved spots anymore and registration
  becomes a first come first serve basis

• The Westin Edmonton
• Room rate 138 per night (based on quad
  occupancy)
• Students must book their own hotel rooms by
  phoning 1-800-WESTIN-1
• Say you are with PDW 2008 Conference
• Confirmed hotel information must be provided to
  CAPSI Junior
• Deadline December 17th, 2007

• PDW Educational Subsidy Protocol
• As part of our mandate in promoting and
  representing the interests of undergraduate
  pharmacy students, CAPSI strives to ensure that
  our elected officers and directors remain
  accountable and responsible to members of the
  Association. In doing so, we encourage all
  students to actively participate and gain further
  exposure and insight into what CAPSI is and what
  we strive to achieve for our members.
• Mandatory attendance will be required at one of
  the following
• CAPSI National AGM
• CAPSI Awards Ceremony
• CAPSI National Elections
• In addition, UBC CAPSI presents PDW Passport to
  Education

Travel Subsidization

• PDW Passport to Education
• Printed passports will be provided to students at
  Opening Banquet on the first day
• Stickers will be given to students as they attend
  PDW academic sessions
• Students are to collect as many stickers as
  possible (with minimum of 2 stickers)
• Passports must be handed in at the end in order
  to receive any PDW Travel Subsidization and for
  an opportunity to enter a draw for UBC CAPSI
  sponsored FREE REGISTRATION
