4What We Need
Resource centers where business, academic,
government agency and NGO communities can
creatively collaborate to align philosophy
(theory), policy and practice to advance
sustainable development
What We Need To Do
Facilitate multi-disciplined approaches to
develop innovative strategies and create
Comprehensive Enterprise Models (CEMs) with
expertise resident in business, academic,
government agency and NGO communities to optimize
returns on capital invested
5Operating Model - Aligning Enterprise Achieving
Sustainable Development
6An Operating Theory
Our developing theory focuses on Total Asset
Management (TAM), an approach that seeks to
optimize the returns on all the forms of capital
invested in an enterprise. Using TAM we can
develop, demonstrate and deploy Comprehensive
Enterprise Models (CEMs). CEMs are created by
creative facilitation of multi-disciplined
teams, experts resident at Stuart, IIT and in our
community.

11Total Asset Management (TAM)
If everything that enters the enterprise system
is viewed and managed as an asset, the resulting
model of wealth creation is circular and
contained rather than linear. The continuous
dividends generated by the Total Asset Management
(TAM) model lead to an effectiveness that defines
the next level of competitiveness in the business
model, and the nature of wealth (health) in the
community model.
