• This presentation discusses my developing project
  which explores my 'look' upon Japanese culture.
  My studio practice utilizes a range of Japanese
  miniature figurines often taken from popular
  Anime and Manga. I will discuss my
  exploration of these figurines recreated
  photographically as two-dimensional images and as
  three-dimensional standing objects on to which I
  transpose my own image. I will relate this to
  Japanese practices of figurine collecting and
  Otaku subculture.
