helped establish the Muhammad Ali Parkinson
Research Center in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to

Christopher Reeve, the most famous movie
Superman. In 1995, while riding, he was thrown
from his horse and became paralyzed from the neck
down. Today Mr. Reeve is a lobbyist who lets his
paralysis play on the feelings of politicians
while testifying before them to increase public
funding for spinal cord injury research,
especially stem cell research.

MS in 1986. As a crusader for animal rights, he
wants scientists to stop using animals in
research and concentrate instead on techniques
such as stem cell research.
