• Focus on Manufacturing Implementation
• The manufacturing group at Penske Racing
  manufacture a range of items from machined
  components, to patterns and moulds for
  carbon-fibre composite items. A quick turnaround
  is required particularly during the racing
  season.
• 3-Axis Bridgeport with Heidenhain controller or
  3-Axis Mazak with Mazatrol controller are used to
  produce 3-D surface machined components.
• Implementation Summary
• Three days into the training programme the first
  test component was successfully machined.
• Within five days the first live part was
  successfully completed, within seven days a
  second component had been designed and machined
  in Pro/NC.

The PSO at Parametric Technology enabled us to
understand and apply Pro/NC quickly and easily.
They gave us the confidence to machine live parts
within 5 days of first using the product
