Save Your Place! The Giovale Library Information
Commons has plenty of places where groups can
meet and work together with technology, and all
of them can be reserved in advance. Just drop by
the Circulation Desk or call 832-2250 at least
4-hours before your group wants to meet. We'll
make sure there's a study room or collaborative
workstation available for your group. Does your
group need a spot in a hurry, and all the group
workstations are occupied by single users? Just
ask, and a Library staff member will clear a
group space for you.

Stay Up Late! When classes are in session, the
Giovale Library Information Commons is open 90
hours a week, with extended hours during final
exams. Information Commons staff are available
for assistance during all open hours, and the
"Ask a Librarian" email service and telephone
voice mail are always on--you can expect a
response by the end of the next business day.

Giovale Library has a growing collection of
feature films, best-selling books, and national
and international award-winning titles. So take
home some movies over the weekend, get a cup of

or any of our other comfortable reading areas.

Go Hollywood! Need to make a movie for a class
project? Want to jazz up your presentation? The
Giovale Library Information Commons has two
multimedia workstations featuring Pinnacle Liquid
Pro video editing software as well as other media
applications. Digital video and still cameras,
boom boxes, projection equipment, and more are
also available, as is a presentation room you can
use to screen your work. All multimedia
equipment and workstations can be reserved in
advance. Just drop by the Library Circulation
Desk, call 832-2250, or check out the "Reserve
It" menu on our "How Do I?" page. All
Information Commons computer workstations can be
used to play video and audio files. Just bring
your Student I.D. to the Library Circulation Desk
to check out a pair of headphones. Ask a
