Background
The weather station team is working on making
live weather data from the school accessible on
the web and integrating several new sensors into
the station, including a lightning detector and
an ultraviolet light sensor. The project has been
in the works for a few semesters, beginning as
part of a move by the EPICS team to build an
all-inclusive web site for our project partner,
Happy Hallow Elementary. For security reasons,
more sensitive portions were scrapped. The
weather station project, however, continued.

• Sensors (Davis equipment, Lightning Sensor, UV
  sensor, etc.)
• Data Collection PC (at HHES)
• Web based front end (on HHES network)

• Visual Basic code debugging in progress top
  priority.

• Lightning Sensor software ready.
• UV Sensor recently mailed back by Brad.

• Web The PERL script must be modified to include
  the new sensors. New server is ready to go!
