• Vladimir Zworykin was a great inventor
  because he invented the television.

Where he went to school

• Vladimir was born in Murom, Russia 200 miles
  east of Moscow. Then went to College de France
  in France and graduated with honors in the field
  of engineering.

Where he went to school

• Vladimir then went back to Russia because of
  World War I. Then stationed at Grodo Fortress
  and assigned to make their communication system.

Where he worked

• Before he moved to the USA he worked at an
  Officers Radio School. Then the civil war made
  him move to the USA and he worked for
  Westinghouse but they did not support him so he
  went to RCA and they did.

Work on television

• The first T.V had a kinescope and a ionoscope.
  The kinescope is a tube needed to make the
  image. The ionoscope is like a camera for the
  transmission. Vladimir got the U.S.A
  Presidential Medal Of Science and the National
  Medal Of Science. The last award he got was the
  Inventor hall of Fame.
