Phoenicians Culture
  • The Phoenicians was famous for their purple dye
  • This dye made all the purple clothing they wore
  • Practiced child sacrifice
  • They shared cultures which allowed them to their
    invention of the alphabet to spread
  • Phoenicians were known as seafaring traders.

  • Kingship appears to have been the oldest form of
    Phoenician government
  • Little was known about ancient civilization it is
    known that the government was at least a
    monarchy.

  • Phoenicians believed in many gods associated with
    nature.
