ANACONDA
  • The Anaconda isnt Poisonous but can squeeze its
    victims until it dies.

RATTLESNAKES
  • This is a North Dakota poisonous snake.
  • They reach a length of 3 feet although specimens
    have been recorded as long as 5 feet . Their
    color varies from greenish-gray to greenish-brown.

COBRA
  • Cobras are venomous snakes of family Elapidae,
    of several genera.They usually inhabit tropical
    and desert regions of Asia and Africa.Cobras kill
    there prey, usually small rodents and birds,by
    injecting a neuotoxin through their hollow fangs.

SPITTING COBRA
  • The spitting cobra can also incapacitate larger
    would-be predators by delivering irritating venom
    to their eyes.

EGYPTIAN COBRA
  • The Egyptian cobra is one of the largest cobras
    of the African continent. They are not snakes
    that live in the real desert as people often
    think. They occur in a variety of habitats like,
    steppes, dry savannahs, semi deserts with some
    vegetation and water.

  • Garden snakes are one of the most common snakes.
  • They live in meadows, hillside, forest,
    marshlands, and gardens, vacant, drainage lots,
    drainage ditches, or backyards.

WAYS TO AVOID A SNAKEBITE
  • Dont sleep next to brush, tall grass, large
    boulders, or trees.
  • Dont put your hands in dark places, such as rock
    crevices.
  • Dont pick up any snakes unless you are
    absolutely positive it is not positive.
  • Dont pick up freshly killed snakes without first
    severing the head. Snakes can deliver a quick
    bite.
  • Dont step over a fallen tree. Step on the log
    and look to see if there are any snakes in your
    path.

  • Egyptian cobras are snakes that eat almost
    everything that moves.
  • In the wild they feed with a wide variety of prey
    items like, toads, tortoises, lizards, snakes,
    small mammals, birds and fish.
