• Most barracudas weigh 115lbs to 125lbs.
• Their length 1meter to 2 meters.

Barracuda colors

• Their colors are mostly blue and silver.

Unusual Characteristics

• Did you know that when the barracuda bites it
  injects a poison into its pray? These fish are
  attracted to shiny objects!

How do Barracuda move about?

• They move from 1-100 depths in the ocean. That
  must mean its prey must be in that area.

Their Prey

• Their main food is fish, but they can feed on
  whatever they want. Anything from lobsters to
  what they can fit in their mouth.

Baby Barracudas

• Scientists have not found out how much young it
  produces, but we do know that the parents do not
  nurture. It takes them 2 years just to mature.
  Their lifespan is 14 years which is very long for
  a single fish.

Travel

• Barracuda travel together in groups like
  fish.

Where are Barracuda located?

• They are found in the Atlantic ocean. Most live
  in the Western part of the Atlantic ocean.

The Hunter becomes the Hunted

• There are only 3 fish that hunt the barracuda.
  They are Pelagic Fish, Puffer fish, and sharks.
