• The boys do not vote to remove Ralph.

• The humiliating tears were running from the

The Hunt

• The chosen pig is a mother pig

• Raid Ralphs camp on the beach to steal fire
• The Gift for the Beast
• Sharpen a stick at both ends. (136)
• Jack help up the head and jammed the soft throat
  down on the pointed end of the stick which
  pierced through onto the mouth. He stood back and
  the head hung there, a little blood dribbling
  down the stick. (136-137)
• This head is for the beast. Its a gift. (137)

• Simons half-shut eyes were dim with the
  infinite cynicism of adult life. They assured
