Grey Wolf Facts

• Gray wolves are the largest of the canine family.
  There thick coats of fur are shades of gray. They
  have long bushy tails, and a keen sense of smell.
  
• Gray Wolves are found in desserts, plains,
  forests, and dens.
• Gray Wolves are carnivores. They eat deer,
  wapiti, bison, caribou, and moose.
• The male wolf and the female wolf love to play
  before mating and have up to 14 pups per season

• Gray wolves are usually in packs of 8 to 35
  members with an Alpha male leader. They
  communicate by scent marking.
• Gray wolves are getting killed by humans because
  they are killing to many cattle and sheep. The
  ranchers dont like that so they are killing the
  wolves. Now they are protected and some are now
  located at national parks.
