BFDC Mission
To promote the common good and general welfare of
the Town of Bourne and to improve the living
standards of its citizens by fostering the

Revitalize Main Street

• Bourne Planning Board July 1966
• Called for dramatic intervention in the face of
  new highways changing the traffic patterns
• Current LCP goal . . . revitalize Main Street
  in Buzzards Bay in accordance with an accepted
  comprehensive plan.
