3 truths about Man as it pertains to cultivating
a healthy spirit
1. Man was created in the image of God.
(Gen. 126-27) Then God said, "Let Us make man in
Our image, according to Our likeness let them
have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the
birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all
the earth and over every creeping thing that
creeps on the earth. So God created man in His
own image in the image of God He created him
male and female He created them.

2. Man has been given a spirit.
(Gen. 27) And the LORD God formed man of the
dust of the ground, and breathed into his
nostrils the breath of life and man became a
living being.

(1Cor. 617) But he who is joined to the Lord is
one spirit with Him.

(Rom. 815-16) For you did not receive the spirit
of bondage again to fear, but you received the
Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba,
Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our
spirit that we are children of God

(Eph. 117-19) that the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the
spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of Him, the eyes of your understanding being
enlightened that you may know what is the hope
of His calling, what are the riches of the glory
of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the
exceeding greatness of His power toward us who
believe, according to the working of His mighty
power.

GLORIFY GOD
(1Cor. 619-20) Or do you not know that your
body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in
you, whom you have from God, and you are not your
own? For you were bought at a price therefore
glorify God in your body and in your spirit,
which are God's.

CLEANSE OURSELVES
(2Cor. 71) Therefore, having these promises,
beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all
filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting
holiness in the fear of God.
WORSHIP GOD
(John 424) "God is Spirit, and those who worship
Him must worship in spirit and truth."

(John 33-8) Jesus answered and said to him,
"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born
when he is old? Can he enter a second time into
his mother's womb and be born? Jesus answered,
"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born
of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the
kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh
is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is
spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You
must be born again. The wind blows where it
wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot
tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is
everyone who is born of the Spirit."
