Introduction

• A dingo is a wild dog.
• Australia's native dog is the dingo.

Appearance

• Dingos are brown, black or white. They have coats
  of short yellow or brown hair but there are
  creamy coloured dingos as well. They are a
  medium sized dog. Dingos are covered with
  yellowish hair .

Habitat

• Dingos live in sandy deserts and all kinds of
  forests.
• In the wild, small family groups live together.
  Each dingo has its own territory.

Diet and habit

• Dingoes like to eat rabbits and kangaroos
• They hunt reptiles and mammals and will eat
  insects. They hunt in packs.

Life cycle and stages of Growth

• Pups and their family live in a den.
• They may also live in a cave or a wombat burrow.
• 4 or 5 pups are born at a time.
• Dingos are Mammals.
• Baby dingos drink their mothers milk from their
  mother's nipples.
