• I chose the Gazelle because they are really
  graceful and pretty.
• Gazelles can run at speeds of 50 mph.
• Gazelles dont need to drink water because they
  get water from the food they eat.

Physical Description

• Gazelles have large, bright eyes.
• Their fur is sandy brown with a white belly and
  legs.
• Their ears and eyes give them a gentle look.
• Gazelles have long V-like or S-like horns.
• They are about 21 inches tall.

Habitat

• Gazelles live in deserts, mountains, and the
  grasslands of Africa and Asia.
• They live in groups of one male with several
  females.
• The males marks their territory with manure and
  urine scents in the grass.

Diet

• Gazelles mostly eat grasses, roots and tree
  shoots.
• They use their hooves to dig up roots.
• They eat a little at a time.
• They swallow their food whole. Later, they vomit
  it up and chew it.

Babies

• Gazelles have one baby at a time.
• The fawn hides in the grass for three weeks, only
  coming out to eat when the mother calls.
• The male fawn leaves the moms herd when they are
  4 to 6 months old.
• The female fawn stays with the moms herd until
  she is 18 months old.
