  • Need to keep it
  • You can make a .swf from a .fla
  • Can NOT make a .fla from a .swf

One Keyframe at a Time
  • When necessary
  • Subject has lots of details
  • Example Someone walking
  • F6 inserts new keyframe
  • Includes copy of previous keyframe
  • Can edit/create only in keyframes

Frame View Settings
  • Different ways to view each frame
  • NO effect on the movie
  • Tiny icon at top right of timeline

Using Onion Skin Tools
  • Just another view
  • Allows you to VIEW multiple frames at once
  • See difference in motion between frames
  • Does not affect the final movie

Incorporating Pauses F5
  • If you DONT want an image to
  • change EVERY frame, rather every 10 frames
  • To slow down certain parts of a movie
  • To pause an action
  • Sleeping
  • Before a kick
  • Insert REGULAR frame F5
  • F5 is NOT a keyframe
  • Do not edit ANYTHING in F5/Regular frame!!!

  • Not necessary to draw EVERY step
  • Just draw main points
  • F6/keyframes
  • Add F5/regular frames for pauses
