Artemis

• Artemis Fowl is a twelve year old mastermind/
  criminal. He is very tricky and mischievous.
  This is his first adventure where he has a real
  breakthrough. He decides to find an ancient book
  and kidnaps a very unusual looking person. He
  takes after his father and the rest of the Fowl
  family. They are a line of thieves.

Holly

• Holly Short is the first female LEPrecon officer.
  That is a cop organization in this book. I
  cant tell you what kind of organization though.
  . . She is not always perfect. She has had one
  very bad incident in her career and she doesnt
  want to make anymore.

Conflict

• In the book Artemis and Holly are rivals for a
  reason you have to read the book to understand.
  Artemis did something bad and tricky which could
  cause a huge war. He collided two things that
  werent meant to be together. To some people he
  is considered a big threat. Holly is the only
  person that can stop Artemis from doing something
  horrible that will not only affect the human
  race.

Recommendations

• This is a great book for anyone who loves
  fun-filled mysteries. You will love this plot
  and everything that goes on. This book is more
  on the long side. If you have a report due the
  next week I suggest you read this on your free
  time unless you are a fast reader. If I were the
  judge I would give this book a 10 out of 10. If
  you are in the mood for a good fantasy book then
  pick up Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. We
  really enjoyed this
  and I hope that you will too!

• Eoin Colfer has written many other books in the
  Artemis Fowl series. This is only book number
  one out of four books. Book two is called The
  Arctic Incident. Book three is called The
  Eternity Code. Book four is called The Opal
  Deception. He is a very creative author!
