• The exhibition was organised as a result of a
  workshop led by John Davison, a practising artist
  and teacher.
• Landscape has always been important to his life
  and work. As a child I grew up in an area of
  Yorkshire where nature was always accessible. As
  a consequence, I have a strong affinity with the
  natural landscape which is significant in my
  paintings.
