Harp Seal

• Habitat Lives along shorelines in the North
  Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean.
• Food Fish and crustaceans. They swallow it in
  large chunks and they can crush the shells of
  crustaceans with their flat back teeth.
• Size 5.5 feet 1.7 m long and weigh 285 pounds.
• Color Thick white fur with black patches and a
  black face. The young are all white.
• Special feature The whiskers called vibrissae
  contribute to the seals sense of touch.

• The harp seal lives along the shorelines in
  the North Atlantic, the Atlantic and the Arctic
  Ocean. They eat mostly fish and crustaceans. They
  swallow it in large chunks and they can crush the
  shells of crustaceans with their flat back teeth.
