Title: NEUROTOXICITY OF NEURONS

1
NEUROTOXICITY OF NEURONS
  • In order to get the system symptom free,
increased stimulation of the remaining viable
neurons is required. This occurs by increasing
neurotransmitter levels, which leads to increases
    in electrical outflow.

2
NEUROTOXICITY
PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE NEURON BUNDLES
SYSTEM DAMAGE
MECHANICAL DAMAGE
3
NEUROTOXICITY
IN ORDER TO PROPERLY TREAT NT DYSFUNCTION,
NEUROTRANSMITTERS MUST BE RAISED TO LEVELS THAT
ARE HIGHER THAN NORMAL.
SYSTEM DAMAGE
MECHANICAL DAMAGE
4
Neurotoxicity
  • Can lead to neurotransmitter disease symptoms
in patients with normal neurotransmitter levels
  • Parkinson represents the prototype
  • Can be caused by Amphetamine use, as well as by
    any toxic or traumatic substance
