• Mealworms are found in fields, wild grass, where
  it is plentiful, and dark, warm, places.
  Mealworms can be found in barns, or in barns with
  stored grain.

• Mealworms eat
• branches in trees
• and dead insects for food. Occasionally mealworms
  eat new plant growth and grasses and stored grain.

• Mealworms predators are rodents, lizards,
  predatory beetles, spiders, and birds. Predators
  call this food to eat.

• When larvae they are golden yellow. Adult beetles
  die in thirty days. They have stubby legs.
  Mealworms dont need water. When pupa they get 6
  to 300 days to change anew color.

• Pupae turn into adult beetles. Female beetles
  will burrow into soft ground and lay 70 to100
  eggs.
