Habitat

• Red eyed green tree frogs live in trees and go to
  water when they are thirsty . Or when they want
  to cool down.
• They are common in America.

  insects but their favourite by far are mosquitos .

Enemies

• Red eyed green tree frogs most common enemy is a
  bird called the heron.
• The red eyed green tree frogs tadpoles most
  common enemies are water insects, such as black
  water beetles and dragon flies, and toads.

Life Cycle

• The female frog lays her eggs on a special type
  of leaf called green night.
• It hangs over a pond or river.
• The female frog can lay up to 2000 eggs at a
  time. The eggs take at least 1 and a half weeks
  to hatch.

• Red eyed green tree frogs are a light green
  colour.
• The males have a bright blue streak up their
  thighs.
• Red eyed green tree frogs can grow up to about
  5cm and when they stretch out they can measure up
  to 12cm in length.
• Red eyed green tree frogs way about 6g in weight.

Interesting Facts.
The male frog can stretch out its vocal sac to
tell the female frog it is near by and ready to
mate. Red eyed green tree frogs can survive up to
six days without water. They can survive up to 12
days without food.
